did a track workout with court, jenifer and haley.
I was totally nervous for this. Cuz i havent done a track workout in over 3 yrs! yikes!! I use to Love...well really like track workouts. I ran track in HS and loved/liked it!:)
But since doing the Ironman a few yrs ago. I got into the going really long and slow routine....and kinda liked....LOVED it!!! But time for a change!!
We did the workout at the Redmtn elem. school. The track there is more like a walking path and is not a 400m track.(its .33 miles...so around a 500m track..i think!) Anyway. in a way it was kinda fun...but it kinda messed with my brain a little. But im sure ill get over it!:)
I felt really slow and out of shape. hee hee.
I didnt want to give it 100%(trying to remain injury free...gave it more like an 80% effort...but still it pushed me!)
8x400 (101 sec, 95 sec, 93 sec, 98 sec, 91 sec, 93 sec, 98 sec, 95 sec)
